How about a Facebook account?

The answer is most probably a ‘Yes’ right? I have them too. But I hardly use them, really. For Twitter, I own 2 accounts which I hardly update anything in it. As for Facebook, I only own a personal account and play the games inside there, keeping a low profile, as always.

Twitter Has Evolved

Just a few months back (and still ongoing…), many Internet Marketing Gurus are promoting Twitter like nobody’s business… As a result, it has evolved to something different now. I feel that more and more people are beginning to limit and scrutinize who to follow etc.

All I can say is,

Spammers changes the way things work.

What has worked previously may not work now. Like blog commenting, its time to tweet more meaningful stuff.

For Facebook, my take is if you own one Group or Page, please update it, else… it will die.

Limit The Noise

Last Sunday, I unsubscribed to several “newletters” and “updates” on Internet Marketing – Earning Money Online related topics. Why? Because I had enough of them. Basically, I subscribed them to get to know the latest trends and tricks that the gurus are up to.

But, I find it too noisy as time goes by….

How many of such email subscription lists do you subscribe to? If you are like me, that you simply read the headings and skip it altogether, you may want to think again if you still wanna keep subscribing to it. I made the decision for it to disappear from my email inbox forever.

P.S. Sorry I have not been active lately ever since my notebook died and revived for 2 weeks earlier this year. My reel life caught up with me. ^_^

Have you heard about the latest buzz about Google’s stand on NoFollow Tags?

Did your site suffered a drop in PageRank recently?

The sites that suffered a drop in PageRank maybe due to Google’s new take on use of NoFollow tags. Those who have used NoFollow tags for purposes of PageRank Sculpting will be affected the most.

When NoFollow Tags was first introduced in Jan 2005, it was originally meant for site owners to identify potentially untrusted external links, such as spammy blog comments. Once a NoFollow Tag was used, the search engine crawlers would not follow that link.

So, what is new?

Well, using NoFollow will continue to prevent PageRank from passing from the linking page through the nofollowed link. But to those PageRank Sculptors, its bad news as under the new system, NoFollow links “practically” eats up the link juice and “evaporates”…. 

Under the old system, the link juice from a NoFollow link can be ”saved up” and passed on to other DoFollow links. This was how PageRank Sculptors move the PageRanks around their websites. Which is why, I believe, many would be unhappy about this new change.  

Ultimately, good content still wins for the long run in order to achieve better PageRank.

Here are a list of things to look out for before using BlogCommentDemon, or basically what I do before I use BlogCommentDemon. :p

Quick Tip #1

 Make sure your computer is well protected by Anti-Virus Software.

Many blogs are infected by viruses. BlogCommentDemon scans through so many blogs, so make sure your anti-virus is updated before doing any all-out searches!

Quick Tip #2

 Have a cup of your favorite drink ready on your desk.

I like to relax when working.

Quick Tip #3

 Make a list of keywords that you want to search and blogcomment.

So that you will not waste time thinking of what to search. Its faster and more efficient this way.

Quick Tip #4

Makes sure there should be minimal distraction at home.

When I blogcomment, I think a lot before I type so if I get distracted, the thoughts mostly get lost. So, you should ensure there are minimal distractions so that you can perform blogcommenting more efficiently and therefore, uses less time to do more work.

An interesting thing I want to share. I stumbled upon this one day and I thought I should make a post on this.
