This is the 2nd part of “How to use Bookmarking Demon 4“.

To bookmark, first of all you have to add your web pages into the “Bookmarks” form (as shown).

You can access the “Add My Web Pages” by clicking on the button in “For Beginners” toolbar (as shown).

After that, all you need to do is to simply enter the Urls of your web pages (line separated) as shown in the screenshot above. Hit “Add Now” when you are ready.

You will see the web pages that you added showing up in the “Excel” like spreadsheet. You can double-click any cell to edit the content within.

Sometimes you will see an error (like the one shown above) saying a particular Url faces error, and that it will however still be added to the list. You can safely ignore this error. As you can see, right after the error message, you get a message saying the Url has been added successfully.

Sounds contradicting? What it means is that Bookmarking Demon was not able to retrieve the content from the web site (it could be temporary unreachable), and that it will insert the Url with no title, tags, nor description.

In the “For Experts” mode. You are given more options (as shown below).

In “Expert” mode, you can tell Bookmarking Demon that you want to add the web pages and auto retrieve meta tags by selecting “Auto Load Meta Tags”. Otherwise, select the “Don’t Load Meta Tags”.

On the right of the screen, you will see a panel. This panel will shows a replica content of the record selected in the excel-like spreadsheet. You can edit the content directly from here. It simply gives you more view estate.

From this panel, you are able to use the “smart” break feature by clicking on the button “Smart #break#”. What smart break does over here is that whenever it see a new paragraph, or new line, it will insert the tag #break# in place. Breaking up the sentences (as shown).

The reason why you will wanna use smart breaks is to tell Bookmarking Demon that “I want you to randomly select a paragraph and submit it to the social bookmarking site”. Bookmarking Demon will randomly select from any of the above 3 paragraphs and use them to bookmark.

Another thing that you might not know about this particular panel on the right is that you can actually drag it out!
