Basically what it does is to help you select the number of bookmarks that will be submitted to a site based on the spam level defined by the meter. Lower level will mean lower chance of getting a ban. You can do this to see how it works:

1. add 10 bookmarks to the same site into the queue
2. adjust the spammometer and click apply button
3. observe how the bookmarks in the queue get selected.

Depending on your bookmarking habit, you might not even need spammometer at all. If you are bookmarking a few url (e.g. 4 bookmarks to the same site) a day, you basically don't need to use spammometer.

Hi Kitty,

Cheers for the tutorials so far, very helpful, at least now I know I've been on the right track! ;-)

Just have a quick question tho...

As far as I can tell the only feature that doesn't seem to be documented at all in the BMD5 manual or tutorial videos at all is the Spammometer feature, from the changelog I can see at some point the feature was removed from the app, then later put back in, so I guess maybe that's why it's not in the current manual.

If you could give us a quick explination of exactly what it does an how/when to use it it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance!
